Famed baker to speak to BPW

September 13, 2013

The Easley Business and Professional Women’s Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Captain Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library in Easley.

The speaker for this month is one of America’s top bakers!

Francine Bryson may have finished second on CBS’ American Baking Competition, but to many people in Pickens County, she always takes the cake, or perhaps, bakes the cake.

Bryson, who entered the contest as an amateur, specializes in pies, cakes and quiches. Her favorite thing to cook is an upside down apple pecan pie.

But, if Bryson could be any dessert she’d be this: “A white chocolate bourbon pecan pie – a little sweet, a little sassy and a lot of nuts in the kitchen.”

Come and bring a friend for this fantastic networking opportunity. It will be fun and it’s only $10 to attend.

To make reservations for please contact Carolyn Farr Smith by Monday evening, Sept. 16 by email at or phone at (864) 505-2755.
