The Easley 10-11-year-old team won the South Carolina state championship last week, defeating Northwood 11-0 in the title game last Wednesday night in Laurens.
Easley took control of the game in the second inning, sending 13 batters to the plate while scoring 7 runs. Jacob Henderson and Dillon Lockaby led the team with two hits each.
Jacob Nelson threw a no-hitter for Easley, picking up his second victory in the tournament.
Easley never trailed an opponent during the tournament, out-scoring the opposition 77-5.
Easley had 64 more hits than their opponents.
Easley now moves to play in the Tournament of State Champions in Greenville, N.C.
Easley will play against the state champions of Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Alabama
The 10-11 age division is the oldest in which Little League Baseball does not sponsor a World Series.
Team members are Reagan Baumgarner, Giffin Cassell, Jacob Henderson, Dillon Lockaby, Autin Morgan, Jacob Nelson, Aaron Schaff, Andrew Stanifer, Chase Stephens, J.T. Spitzmiller and Mason Stewart.
The team is managed by Chuck Stephens and assisted by coaches Alan Schaff, Stace Cassell and Bill Stanifer.
