Palmetto Medical Research Associates conducts clinical trials on new medications for pharmaceutical companies. These trials are designed to test the safety and efficacy of new medications to determine if they will be approved by the FDA. These trials are essential to gaining a better understanding of medical conditions and to finding better treatment options. Palmetto Medical Research is recognized by multiple pharmaceutical companies as a top rated research center and is constantly being recruited to conduct new studies. This allows us to select the best studies to fit the needs of our patients. The conditions that we have focused on at Palmetto Medical Research are COPD and Asthma, but we are also conducting an influenze trial during the 2010-2011 flu season.

The health of our patients is our top priority here at Palmetto Medical Research. Patients are provided with quality care throughout the clinical trial at no cost. This may include investigational medications, blood work, EKGs, and physicals. Patients also receive compensation for time and travel at each study visit. We strive to maintain a friendly and comfortable atmosphere where our patients are able to relax. Many of our patients have participated in multiple studies with us since 2008, and in doing so, have become part of the Palmetto Medical Research family.
