The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
— Joshua Tillmen Reid, 26, of 7 Ash St., Startex; Jesse James Bolton, 24, of 9 E. Pine St., Startex; Brooks Wayne Johnson, 18, of 638 Canaan Road, Spartanburg; and Justin Kesley Rawls, 21, of 18 Spruce St., Startex, were each charged with trespassing around 10:45 p.m. Oct. 1. According to the incident report, officers located Reid, Bolton, Johnson and Rawls at the Buffalo Mill site, and they told officers they were there about metal. An investigator found metal on the property which appeared to have been stacked for loading, and the subjects had a vehicle with a trailer. The owner of the site was contacted, and he advised no one should be taking anything from the property.
— Erica Renee Dean, 24, of 1208 W. Main St., Union, was charged with resisting arrest and possession of metal knuckles around 3:13 p.m. Oct. 1. According to the incident report, Dean ran from officers when they attempted to arrest her for an outstanding warrant. Officers located Dean in a van, which also contained metal knuckles.
— David Earl Wilson, II, 44, of 303 Walker St., Union, was charged with breach of peace around 5:15 p.m. Sept. 30.
— James Dean Vaughn, 37, of 645 Bailey Road, Union, was charged with driving under suspension, expired tag, and no proof of insurance around 11 p.m. Oct. 1.
— Paul Darryl Rice, 51, of 306 St. Luke Church Road, Union, was charged with driving under the influence around 6:20 p.m. Oct. 1.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incident:
— A Jonesville resident reported Sept. 30 that after fishing at the Jonesville reservoir, he realized he left a blue and black U.S. Air Force backpack containing seven tackle boxes on the bank near the boat ramp. He went back to the lake, but the backpack was gone. Contents of the backpack were valued at $750.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrest:
— Charlie Henry Gladney, III, 23, of 218 Westview Drive, Union, SC, was charged with malicious damage around 1:35 p.m. Oct. 1. According to the arrest warrant, Gladney intentionally struck a sheet rock wall with his fist while at an address on Horseshoe Circle, Union on Sept. 26.
