PICKENS – Area children descended upon downtown Pickens Saturday for Trick or Treat on Main.

Amidst a colorful array of costumes and seasonal decoration, parents escorted their young super heroes, masked bandits and little zombies along West Main Street in search of Halloween goodies.

“The City of Pickens and Cannon Memorial Hospital partnered for this safe and family friendly event,” said City Administrator Katherine Hendricks.

Officials at Cannon Memorial Hospital expressed their gratitude to the City of Pickens and their eagerness to serve the community.

“Cannon Memorial Hospital is pleased to work with the City of Pickens, local businesses and organizations to provide a fun, safe, family experience for the community,” said Steven Evans, community relations director at Cannon Memorial hospital. “It is an honor to provide this annual event for Pickens’ greatest investment, the children.”
