TIGERVILLE – Stephanie Dalton, a senior at Pickens High School, and Leslie Turner, a senior at Easley High School, were awarded the Crusader Fellows Scholarships by North Greenville University. Dalton and Turner were chosen to receive the scholarship on the basis of academic achievement, school, church, and community involvement.
With satisfactory academic progress, this scholarship will guarantee the full cost of tuition, room and board for four years of attendance at NGU.
The Crusader Fellows Scholarship is awarded to students who are residents of South Carolina that qualify for the state’s Palmetto Fellows Scholarship.
Dalton is the daughter of Scott and Lisa Dalton of Pickens. Turner is the daughter of Paul and Beth Turner of Easley.
Sloan Burdick, a senior at Powdersville High School, was awarded the Trustee Scholarship by North Greenville University based her academic achievement, school, church, and community involvement.
With satisfactory academic progress, this scholarship will guarantee $56,000 over the course of four years of attendance at NGU.
Burdick has been accepted into the NGU’s Class of 2019 and plans to enroll in August of this year. She is the daughter of Tami Bishop of Easley.
All three interviewed and competed for the scholarships during Scholarship Interview Day at North Greenville University on Feb. 12.
