SENECA — The World of Energy plans to host its final outdoor movie night of the summer at 9 p.m. Aug. 1 featuring the “LEGO” movie.

This is the fifth year in a row that the World of Energy and the Oconee Nuclear Station have hosted the outdoor movies for the community.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket and snacks, or snacks will be available for purchase. Guests can also watch the movie from the shoreline in their boat on Lake Keowee. No pets or alcoholic beverages are permitted.

Limited parking will be available at the World of Energy, and additional parking is available across the street from the World of Energy entrance on S.C. 130 and will be marked with directional signs. Complimentary shuttle service from the overflow parking area to the World of Energy will be provided, as well as transportation to the lake’s peninsula for those who need it.
