PENDLETON — Tri-County Technical College is offering an Electrical Wiring Certificate program for individuals who want to prepare for careers as electricians.

The first Electrical Wiring I module will be held Sept. 2 through Oct. 2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Pendleton Campus.

“Students will begin with learning theory and will advance to Ohm’s Law, magnetism, safety and tools, wiring methods, services, motors, inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting,” said Master Electrician and instructor Randy Jameson. “They will begin at point zero and by the time they’ve completed the program, they will be an electrician that will not only know how, but why.”

This class also will benefit contractors and the untrained electricians they employ. Call 864-646-1700 or visit www.tctc.edu/learn for more information or to register.
