ANDERSON — Investigators with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested a father and son for narcotics-related offenses on July 7.
Christopher Laquientia Mack Sr., 37, and Christopher Laquientia Mack Jr., 18, of Donalds, were both charged with trafficking 61.5 pounds of marijuana. The street value of the seizure is approximately $60,000.
The arrests occurred in the Belton area on North Major Road as a result of an on-going investigation into marijuana trafficking and distribution in Anderson County.
Both subjects were detained at the Anderson County Detention Center on $25,000 bond. The bond was posted Tuesday and both individuals have been released, pending their court appearance.
Per Narcotics Lieutenant David Baker, based on the continuing investigation, additional charges and arrests are likely to occur in the near future.
