CLEMSON – One of the bright spots for Clemson University’s 2010 offensive line is now in question after former Pickens High School standout Wilson Norris tore his ACL during practice Wednesday. Preliminary reports indicate that the injury will require surgery. No date has been set for the surgery.

Norris is now questionable for the 2010 season.

At 6-4, 310 pounds, Wilson was listed as second on the spring depth chart behind Antoine McClane at right guard.

Norris played in all 14 games last season and had seven knockdown blocks. He played 61 snaps in seven games as a red-shirt freshman in 2008.

Norris played for Coach Brett Turner at Pickens High School. He played in the 2007 Shrine Bowl. He was following in the footsteps of former Blue Flame standout Marion Dukes, who played in the 2002 Shrine Bowl and eventually became a starter on the Clemson offensive line.
