43rd Annual Upstate Boat Show motors into TD Convention Center

Leave the world in your wake at the 43rd Annual Upstate SC Boat Show at the TD Convention Center from Thursday, January 24 through Sunday, January 27. Come see all the boating lifestyle has to offer, complete with the newest recreational boats, fishing boats, ski boats, personal watercraft and even some collectors’ antique boats.

In addition to offering boat lovers a way to connect with experts who can walk an entry-level buyer through boating basics or show an experienced boater the newest products and technology, the Upstate SC Boat Show includes everything needed to enjoy time on the water, from the latest in boat navigation or docks to information on boating safety and fishing equipment.

The 2013 Upstate SC Boat Show schedule is the following:

Thursday-Friday, Jan. 24-25: Noon - 9 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 26: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 27: Noon - 6 p.m.

Tickets are on sale at the TD Convention Center. Prices are $7 for adults and $6 for students, ages 6-18, and seniors, ages 65+. PICKENS COUNTY – A toddler is dead after drowning at a home in Easley.

According to a press release issued by Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley, 15-month-old Tylan Gosnell of Greenville was found floating face down in a swimming pool Wednesday afternoon at a home on Cannon Lane in Easley.

Gosnell was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead just after 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Kelley said that an autopsy was scheduled for Friday.
