EASLEY – The Pickens County Habitat for Humanity has moved its ReStore to a new location on Calhoun Memorial Highway in Easley.
“We are in a much higher traffic location now,” said Executive Director Jill Evans. “We anticipate having a lot more drive-by shoppers.”
Evans said that the new location would also be more visible in the community.
“We probably have a little less square footage but we have a higher quality of merchandise,” Evans said. “We have made really good use of all of our square footage and the store is loaded with high quality items at a very reasonable price.”
The new location features a variety of items to satisfy many household needs.
“We sell new and gently used items,” Evans said. “Most things pertain to the home. We have really nice furniture, we have working appliances of all types, and we have all kinds of home goods like kitchen items.”
According to Evans, the ReStore also has books, some toys, and even discounted building supplies and materials.
“All of the profits that are generated at our ReStore go to help build more habitat houses in Pickens County for needy families,” Evans said.
Evans said that the ReStore does not have any personal items like clothes or shoes.
The ReStore is now located at 6776 Calhoun Memorial Highway in Easley and is open Wednesday through Saturday with varying hours.
Wednesday’s hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday’s hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday’s hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday’s hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
