JUNE SCHEDULE
Vermicomposting June 1 Time: 9a.m.-noon
Ages: 8-12 Location: Oconee County Extension Office $20
Kids will build their own worm bin to take home and will receive a Soil and Water project book. Snacks included.
Archery Shoot June 7 Time: 9a.m.-11a.m.
Ages: 8-18 Location: 136 McGaha Rd, Easley $10
Learn basic archery techniques. Practice shooting. A snack and water will be served. Please wear sunscreen as we will be outside.
4-H20 Camp June 10-13 Time: 9a.m.-3p.m.
Ages: 9-13 Location: Twin Lakes Park, Clemson $75
Have fun exploring Lake Hartwell. Learn about what lives in the water, where our water comes from and the animals who share our water!

Brownie Girl Scouts will complete requirements for the Pets and Bugs badges.
Water Ecology July 9-11 Time: 9:30a.m.-12:30p.m.
Ages: 9-13 Location: Greenville Extension Office $30
Learn about your watershed and the quality of the water around us as you perform water sampling and analyses on our own Reedy River, learn native plant and insect identification, discuss conservation and the effects of pollution on the environment. Bring your own lunch; snacks will be provided.
Soft Cheese Making July 12 Time 10a.m.-5p.m.

Enjoying the Outdoors (Outdoor Skills) July 26-27

July 27: 9:30a.m.-until Location: Jones Gap State Park
Ages: 10-13 $15 plus park admission
Come learn the basics behind a safe, but fun hiking/backpacking adventure! Build a first aid kit, learn what to pack for an outdoor excursion, learn how to use a compass and GPS receiver and much more! Then enjoy a leisurely hike at Jones Gap State Park. *Parent/guardian must accompany youth on the hike.*

Explore rocketry, robotics, electricity/alternative energy, and more! Also test out National 4-H science experiments of present and past.
Kids in the Kitchen July 30, 31 10a.m.-1p.m.

$15 per session
July 30 and 31st will be separate sessions with different cooking projects. Learn how to get around in your kitchen and wow your family with your new skills.

Cost: $8 Enjoy the morning practicing digital camera basics, camera tricks & a photo shoot in Falls Park. Digital cameras and snacks provided. Participants will receive an electronic copy of pictures taken.
Flower Arranging Aug 6 Time: 9a.m.-Noon
Ages: 9-13 $15 Location: Anderson Extension Office
Design a flower arrangement and take it home to decorate your house.
Vermiculture- All About Worms Aug 7 Time: 9a.m.-Noon
