West Pelzer Elementary held a Battle of the Books Competition May 16 for 4th and 5th grade students. Winners pictured left to right are Michelle Penry, Ashley Edge, Ella Froedge, Mrs. Carla Nash (media specialist), Morgan Roberts, & Kenley Powell. This team went on to participate in Anderson One’s second annual Battle of the Books Competition May 20th. This a bowl type competition to encourage 4th and 5th grade students to read.
