POWDERSVILLE — With a big dose of Jakobe Bufford in the first quarter, Powdersville (7-3, 4-3) took an early lead Oct. 31 over visiting Blacksburg, eventually running away with a 31-7 victory and a spot in the AA playoffs.
EASLEY — The Easley Green Wave (3-7, 2-4) had its chances early to give visiting Hillcrest (9-1, 5-1) a run for its money, but in the end it was more trick than treat as the Rams rolled to a 56-0 win Oct. 31.
HONEA PATH — The Pickens Blue Flame lost 41-0 to Belton-Honea Path on Halloween, but managed to secure a playoff spot. Pickens will travel to Wren on Friday to take on the Golden Hurricanes for round one of the regional playoffs.
LIBERTY — Halloween was good to the Red Devils as Liberty (4-6, 2-5) rolled to a 48-20 region win over Carolina Academy (2-8, 1-6) Oct. 31.
