PICKENS - The Pickens County Cultural Commission invites one and all for a free house concert at the Hagood Mill Historic Site & Folklife Center. On Saturday, February 5 the mill site is proud to host a concert with guitarist and singer, Danielle Yother and Friends (1:00 p.m.); old time string band, the Red Hill Rattlers (2:00 p.m.) and Hagood Mill regulars, The J.C. Owens Band, with Buffalo Barfield, opening the show at 12:00 noon. The young Miss Yother is part of Pickens County’s “Young Appalachian Musician” (Y.A.M.s) Program. The concert will be in the Hagood Mill Visitor Building. Seating is limited so come early to see and hear three hours of great pickin’ and singin’ in an intimate, close setting.
