The Easley Fire Department responded to the report at the cinemas location at 5065 Calhoun Memorial Highway. The subject who started the fire is currently in custody at the Easley Police Department.
There was very minimal if any damage to the building.
The suspect was seen by the employees who were working there, and pointed out to Easley firefighters. The suspect was caught and arrested by the police department. The fire department was on scene for approximately 20 minutes removing smoke and checking the building.
