Netherlands pounds its way into Big League World Series

KUTNO, Poland – The Netherlands completed its domination of the EMEA region with a 14-1 win over Moldova in the championship game.

The Netherlands now advances to the Big League World Series, set for July 28-Aug. 4 at the J.B. “Red” Owens Recreation Complex in Easley.

The Netherlands was a perfect 4-0 in the series, scoring 45 runs while only allowing 3.

This is the second consecutive year that the Netherlands has won the EMEA title and advanced to the BLWS. Last year the Netherlands finished the series with a 1-3 record, with only a 5-4 win over Canada.
