EASLEY - Jerry Coke Cantrell, 59, of Carolyn Road and widower of Sylvia Whitmire Cantrell, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007 at Palmetto Health Baptist in Easley.

Born in Easley, he was a son of the late Coke Wesley and Vera McQueen Cantrell. He was a former employee with The Gospel Hour Inc. of Greenville and a member of Glenwood Wesleyan Church.

Surviving are a son, Jeffrey "J.B" Cantrell of Liberty; a daughter, Hope Cantrell of Greenville; a sister, Judy Godfrey of Easley; and two grandchildren, Zachary and Kennedy Cantrell.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Ruby Nell Reeves.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at Glenwood Wesleyan Church followed by burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
