Born in Greenwood, S.C., 86 years ago, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. T.E. (Pop) Stone of Easley, S.C.
Margaret was a member of the Class of 1940 of Easley High School.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, James Roy Grant; one daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Ed Hedrick of Ocala; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Elizabeth Grant of Columbus, Ga.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Violet Porter, Dorothy Griffith, Mildred Holcombe, all of Easley, and Doris Ellison of Monroe, Ga.
She was predeceased by brothers Gordon Stone of Easley, Thomas Jr. of Salem, Va., and a baby brother, Benny.
No service was held per her request.
