ANDERSON - A bond hearing has been set for Nathaniel Dickson for Friday at 10 a.m. on the fourth floor of the Anderson County Courthouse at 100 Main St. in downtown Anderson.

Dickson, 18, has been charged with the shooting deaths of four family members in a case that has drawn national attention.

The deceased are: Dickson's father, Andy Dickson; brother, Taylor Dickson; stepsister Melissa Jiliam Salazar, and stepmother Martiza Hurtado Dickson.

All four were found April 26 at a residence on 153 Pine Lake Drive in Anderson County in what many consider the Wren community.

Dickson was later caught at a Belton residence later that evening and charged on all four counts of murder.

Tenth Judicial Circuit Solicitor Chrissy Adams says that she's considering the death penalty for Nathaniel Dickson, who turned 18 last June. Adams said she will first speak with family members and then review the evidence before making a final decision.

Eventually, the case will go before a grand jury, which will decide if there's probable cause. He will then be tried in general sessions after being indicted, but Adams doesn't yet have a timeline for when that will be.
