EASLEY - The body of an Easley man was found in his South D Street home Sept. 2.
Easley police responded to the home at the request of relatives to check on the 34-year-old man's well-being, according to a report and officials.
The body was discovered inside the residence around 8:30 p.m., the report said.
Chief Deputy Coroner Kandy Kelley said there was no obvious cause of death.
"I don't suspect homicide at this point," Kelley said. "But I'm not ruling anything out."
Results of toxicology and other tests are expected back in six-12 weeks, she said.
According to police, it appeared that the man had been dead for several days.
