PICKENS—Two suspects were apprehended shortly after they robbed a bank in Pickens.
Pickens County Assistant Sheriff Tim Morgan says officers responded to the Bank of America in Pickens at around 5:20 p.m. where the robbery occurred.
“The responding officers determined that they left in a red Ford pick up,” said Morgan. “Deputies located one in Easley. It was a very short pursuit involving the sheriffs office and Easley police. The suspects were apprehended on Grace Avenue.”
With the two suspects in custody, Morgan says further details about the robbery will be coming soon.
“It’s still under investigation,” he said
