Mrs. Frances Virginia Elder Granger, 96, wife of the late James Myers Granger, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 at McCall Hospice House.

Born in Bostwick, GA, a daughter of the late John Henry and Elizabeth Landers Elder, Mrs. Granger retired from J.P. Stevens, Monaghan Plant and later the Greenville Hospital System. She was a member of Easley Church of God.

Surviving are two sons, Lewis Welton Granger and Richard Allen Granger, both of Easley; a daughter-in-law, Elaine Granger; six grandchidren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Granger was predeceased by a son, James Benson Granger; a brother, Demus Nick Elder; a sister, Eva Moody; a grandson Stephen Ellison Granger; and two daughters-in-law, Donna Granger and Lois Granger.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dr. T. David Sustar officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service, at the funeral home.
