EASLEY — Palmetto Health Baptist Easley is accepting applications for student volunteers for summer month service beginning June. The summer youth program is offered to students ages 13 to 18. Students must be 13 by June 1 to participate. The program has a limited number of student volunteer slots available. The deadline for applications is May 1.

Each volunteer is required to fill out an application. Once the application is accepted, a half-day mandatory orientation session will be offered. Amy Howard, Palmetto Health Baptist Easley volunteer manager, will work with student volunteers to help them choose areas in which they would like to work and to establish schedules. The goal is to place volunteers in the areas that are consistent with their skills and interests. Last year, the hospital had 60 students in this program.
