Born in Pickens County, a son of Carolyn Ray Wardlaw of Easley, and the late Gordon C. Wardlaw, Donnie was a sub-contractor and a member of Arial Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two brothers, Stanford Ashley Wardlaw of Easley, and Michael Gordon Wardlaw of Chapin; a sister, Shirley Mechelle Powers of Easley; and a niece and three nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.Tuesday at Arial Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Parton officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Memorial Gardens.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of SC, 500 Taylor Street, Columbia, SC 29201 or to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
The family is at the residence.
