Surviving are a daughter, Shannon Thompson; her mother, Doris Ellison of Monroe; a sister and brother-in-law, Kendra and Eddie Walker of Monroe; a brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Lisa Ellison of Covington; nieces Candice and Eaitlyn Ellison; aunts, Dorothy S. Griffith, Violett S. Porter and Mildred S. Holcombe of Easley.
Graveside services were 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, at Westlawn Cemetery, with the Rev. Don Malcone officiating.
Meadows Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
