Donna and Marcus Barkey of Simpsonville, South Carolina, announce the marriage of their daughter, Dana, to Robert Lindsey, son of Allan and Nereida Lindsey, on June 9th, 2012.
The ceremony was held at Folly Beach County Park overlooking the marsh at 5 pm, and was officiated by a good friend, Mr. Timothy Kinney. It was a setting blessed by God’s love, the ocean, beach, sunshine, and especially the family and friends present. The brilliant sunset and “Carolina Moon” that followed made the event even more remarkable!
The bride and bridesmaids carried bouquets of daisies and verbena, and the colors were beach (reminiscent of chocolate), sand, and teal. Bridesmaids were Krissy Simmons, Christina Szczepanski, Megan Ellis, and Katy Patterson. Allan Lindsey, Ryan Parsons, Brian Flynn, Todd George, and Dane Dressler were the Groomsmen, and Bruce Sanchez was the ring bearer.
Both Robert and Dana reside in Columbia, South Carolina. Robert is the owner of Wise Guys Home Improvement and does residential remodeling. Dana works with an area pharmacy school setting up doctoral experiences across the nation.
The couple will continue to live in Columbia, South Carolina.
