Robert Peoples has his cholesterol tested by an AnMed Health employee at the recent Heartscore screening provided by Cannon Hospital and AnMed Health. As part of February’s Heart Month, Cannon Hospital and AnMed Health partnered to offer free Heartscore screenings to the community. Over 100 people registered and attended the free screenings held at the Pickens Senior Center, which are a means of detecting possible heart problems before it’s too late. The free tests included: Total cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, height and weight, body mass index, heart rhythm, sleep assessment, diabetes information and educational counseling.
