James A. Glassmoyer, 66, formerly of Easley, SC passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at his home in Summerville, SC. He is survived in death by his wife, Barbara A. Glassmoyer of Summerville, SC, and daughters Kirsten G. Pearson, of Greensboro, NC and Katie A. Rogers of Flower Mound, TX. Jim was an Electrical Engineer who worked for Ortec, Inc., in Easley, SC until his retirement in ‘05. When healthy, Jim enjoyed the tropics, his German Shepherd dogs, wine making, building furniture and computers, and spending time with his family. Jim is survived by his 6 grandchildren: Emelia (10), Miller (8), Lilah (5) and Sullivan Pearson (8 months) all of Greensboro, NC and Grae (5) and Finn Rogers (2) both of Flower Mound, TX. Jim’s wishes were for a private service of remembrance with his family. His body was put to rest on Feb 11, 2013 by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services, but his spirit will be with us always.
