Officials with the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office reported that a laptop, money and other items were taken.
The armed robbery occurred around 1:30 p.m. on March 31 after a man called the victim about a laptop computer for sale, an incident report stated.
The victim gave directions to his home on Lenhardt Road, and the man came over and looked at the computer, according to the report.
The man then told the victim he had to go to his car to get money, the report stated.
When the victim turned to get something to drink, the man struck him on the face, knocking him to the floor, the report stated.
That’s when the victim said he saw two other men enter his living room from the back door, according to the report.
One of those two men was holding a semi-automatic pistol, the report stated. The man was described as black, wearing blue jeans and a black hoodie, with a dark bandana over his face.
The victim reported that the man put the pistol in his mouth and started searching through his pockets, according to the incident report.
The victim described the third man as white, wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt, with the t-shirt pulled over his face, the report stated.
According to the report, one of the men took the laptop, and the three men left the home.
Assistant Sheriff Tim Morgan said an arrest warrant has been issued for 27-year-old Shane Cassidy Lewis, of 109 Old Pond St., Easley, in connection with the incident.
As of press time, he had not been arrested, Morgan said.
Police described Lewis as a white male, 6 ft., 3 in. tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.
