Willie Adam Owens, 24, of 116 Hudson Street, was pronounced dead at the scene after the single-vehicle accident, which occurred at 10:42 p.m. Sunday night.
Owens was not wearing a helmet or protective gear, Kelley said.
His history of seizures may have played a role in his death, she said.
The Easley Police Department is investigating the accident.
