EASLEY — John Leroy Julian Jr., 79, of 301 Kingsberry Drive, husband of the late Ella Naomi Pace Julian, died Monday, July 13, 2009, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Pickens County, a son of the late John Lee and Cora Lee Smith Julian, Mr. Julian retired as President of AAA Fastener Supply, Inc. He was a member of Bates Masonic Lodge and a member of Hejaz Shrine having served as Captain of the ShrinersHospital Guide Unit. Mr. Julian was a veteran of the Korean War having served with the US Army and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are two sons, John L. Julian III, of Greenville, and Terry Julian and wife, Susan, of Easley; two daughters, Pat Case and husband the Rev. David Case, and Kathy Morgan and husband, Chris, all of Easley; a brother, the Rev. Ellis Julian of Cocoa Beach, Fla; grandchildren, Christie and Angela Julian, Brandon and wife, Kalah Julian, Brett Julian, Ben, Rebekah and Brianna Case, Alex Morgan, David Isom and wife, Jana, and Mary Isom Bruce and husband, Scott; a great-grandchild on the way; and Best Friend and Special Angel, Judy Bell. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Julian was predeceased by two brothers, William H. Julian and Ben Julian and by two sisters, Sarah Bruce and Edna Mae Julian.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Rev. David Case and Rev. Roy McCall officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum of Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425Powdersville Road, Easley.

Honorary escort will be the Shriners Hospital Guide Unit.

Visitation will be from 1 until 2 p.m Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
