EASLEY — An Easley man is facing charges in connection with several vehicle break-ins around Valentine’s Day.

According to warrants issued in March, Steven Keith Gibson, 18, of 136 Freedom Way, faces five counts each of auto breaking and petit larceny.

Easley police arrested him on Saturday, July 19.

Stereo equipment was taken from five vehicles between Feb. 13 and Feb. 14, according to incident reports.

According to Maj. Tim Tollison of the Easley Police Department, four of the incidents occurred at Creekside Apartments.

The fifth took place at Brookfall Apartments, an arrest warrant stated.

As of press time, Gibson was still being held at the Pickens County Law Enforcement Center, according to detention officers.

His bond was set at $40,487.50, they said.
