Easley First Baptist to hold free art classes

EASLEY – Easley First Baptist's motto this summer has been to keep Easley first, so they continue to strive for this by offering a free art camp running from Aug. 10 through Aug. 13.

The camp will be held each day from 9 a.m. until noon.

The camp will offer performance classes in acting, masked theatre, using instruments to praise God, sweet pipes, hands on recorder, dance as worship, fish stix, and move, sing and play. Visual parts classes offered will include conceptual art, drawing, painting, creating paper memory projects, drawing cartoons, sculpture and knitting and crocheting.

There will be an arts showcase and lunch on Sunday, Aug. 16 to follow the event. The cost for adults and youth will be $4 and for children the cost will be $2.
