EASLEY – The Easley Downtown Business Association presents the 2009 Autumn in Easley festivities which will take place Saturday, Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. The day will be filled with antiques, artwork, entertainment and the best food in Pickens County that are sure to interest all Easley residents.

The Fourth Annual Antiques on Main will be featured. Antique dealers, businesses, consignors, collectors or clubs are invited to sell and/or showcase treasures.

The Art Festival Series returns again this year. It has been added to Autumn in Easley due to the frequent requests by residents to bring it back. The Downtown Business Association has encouraged all galleries and studios in Easley to be open for the day.

Both events will be combined into one event for the day. However, each venue will have their own area to accommodate vendors and guests. Dance studios and clubs have also been invited to participate in the event.

There will be an area designated for “Rolling Art” which consists of antique cars, motorcycles and tractors. There is no entry fee for individuals or groups to display their vehicles. There will also be a special display of Easley’s own antique fire truck provided by Easley Fire Department.

For the first time, Easley will offer the Tasters Choice Venue. Local restaurants and caterers will hand out samples and sell specialty items to the public in an attempt to showcase their menus to the Easley community. Each business will hand out menus or advertising materials.

The Easley Business Association hopes to fill up “Old Towne” Easley streets and Old Market Square for a fun-filled day.
