EASLEY — Three men were charged last week in connection with a crime spree in rural Easley that spanned through the first couple weeks in October.

Cars were broken into; and a car, a dirt bike, bowling bowls, and a truck tool box were among the items taken from several victims, according to police reports.

One victim’s car, a 2004 Kia was taken from her driveway during the night of Sept. 30. Highway Patrol officers found the car the next day wrecked on Hinton Road, according to an incident report.

According to an arrest warrant, the car was deemed a total loss.

Police also said a gas-powered dirt bike was taken from a home on Kay Drive, but that the bike fell off the back of the two of the culprit’s truck as they fled the scene, according to the incident report.

The bike was damaged when it hit the pavement, but was returned to the victim, the report stated.

Rodney Callope Roach, 20, of 163 Frinnie Lane, Easley, was charged with one count of auto breaking, two counts of grand larceny, three counts of simple larceny and one count of malicious damage, according to arrest warrants.

Brian Keith Roach, 19, of 19 Scruggs Circle, Greer; and Michael O’Bryan Garland, 18, of 311 Goldenbranch Drive, Easley, were also charged in connection with several of the incidences.

Both Brian Roach and Garland face one count of auto breaking, one count of grand larceny and three counts of simple larceny.

Rodney Roach is being held at the Pickens County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond, according to police.

Brian Roach and Garland were released Oct. 12 on $5,000 bonds.
