EASLEY — Morris W. Nicholas Jr. beloved husband of Ruth Fern Nicholas passed peacefully November 7, 2009, in his 81st year. Loving father to Thomas Nicholas of Clearwater, Fla., and Julie Nicholas Robillard and husband Keith of Pinellas Park, Fla.; devoted grandfather to Michael Nicholas and wife Jessica of Montreal, Quebec, Jonathan Nicholas of Columbus, Ohio, Jeremy Konrad-Nicholas and companion Dawn of Murfreesboro, Tenn.,, Hannah Vinnedge and husband Matthew of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Sarah Deais and husband Reda of San Antonio, Texas; brother to Norma Meyer of Albuquerque, N.M. and uncle to several nieces and nephews. He was born in Brazil, Ind. to the late Morris W. Nicholas, Sr. and Norma Rowland Nicholas. In addition to his parents he was preceded by a brother Steven Nicholas.

Mr. Nicholas retired from Marathon Oil Corporation as a marketing representative after 42 years of service and was of the Christian faith.

Memorial service 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2009, in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home, Pickens.
