Mrs. Leah Sexton Kidd, 75, of 201 Hagood Street, Easley, died Nov. 9, 2009.

She was born April 13, 1934 in Dacusville, to the late William Sexton and Ruth Merck Sexton. She was a retired textile employee and was of the Baptist faith.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Thomas Jasper Medlin; and a daughter, Paulette Raines.

Surviving are her husband, John W. Kidd of S.C.; son, Jamie King; daughters, Toni Browning, Charlette Jordan and husband James all of Easley; brothers, Lloyd Sexton of Cleveland, Harold Sexton of Liberty, Brody Sexton of Greenville; sisters, Pauline Cannon of Greenville, Katherine Cantrell of Mayo; grandchildren, Gidget Owens of Travelers Rest, Jerry Phillips of Denver, N.C.; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Jordan, Nicholas Jordan, Jeremy Phillips, Madison Phillips, Caitlin Owens, Lexie King, Analeigh King.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Westville Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Freddie Crowe will officiate. Burial will be in Barton Memorial Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Greer.
