PENDLETON — When Santa Claus checks his naughty list this year, he’s sure to find the names of the six Herdman children — probably underlined and highlighted.

These poorly-behaved brats are the stars of the show, and the instruments of destruction, in the “Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” the new play opening at the Clemson Little Theatre Dec. 4.

The popular Christmas comedy, an adaptation of Barbara Robinson’s beloved children’s novel, of a couple who are forced into drafting the Herdman kids into their church’s Christmas pageant.

The Herdman kids rise to the challenge — of making their directors miserable as they try to reign in their cast and go on with the show.

The show runs at Clemson Little Theatre Dec. 4-6 and Dec. 11-13. Friday and Saturday curtain time is 8 p.m.  Sunday matinee curtain time is 3 p.m.

Admission is $15 for adults, and $7 for college students (with ID) and Youths under 19.

Please call the box office at 1-864-646-8100 for reservations.

The Clemson Little Theatre is located at the Pendleton Playhouse, 214 South Mechanic Street in Pendleton.
