EASLEY — Nellie Pauline Dillard Phelps, 92, of 200 McAlister Road, wife of the late Frank Phelps Jr. died at her home on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2009.

Born in Central, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Mera Cantrell Dillard. She was a homemaker and a charter member of St. Matthias Lutheran Church

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Phelps is predeceased by two brothers and a sister.

Mrs. Phelps is survived by two sons, Barry (Joan) and Frank (Kathy) of Easley; three sisters, Doris Smith of North Carolina, Louise Brown of Central and Dorothy Dillard of Easley; three grandchildren, Hilery Hennessee (Brad), Christi Turner (Benji) and Charlie Phelps all of Easley and three great-grandchildren, Trinity and Kyler Turner and George Hennessee.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at St. Matthias Lutheran Church conducted by the Rev. Alan Kinsey. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

The family is at the home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
