“We brought this back due to popular demand from our last teen night,” Tammy Kelley, Youth Services Supervisor for the Pickens County Library System said.
Teens will be allowed to browse the book shelves, check out items, look at magazines, use the computers and participate in planned activities such as karaoke and video games.
The library’s in-house coffee shop, The Java Junction will be open for students to purchase snacks and drinks.
Teens must bring their current high school ID for admission into the event.
The library will have staff supervision throughout the night and re-entry will not be permitted.
For more information on the event, call the library at 850-7077 or email reference@pickens.lib.sc.us.
