Westside took a 12-5 lead after one quarter. Easley trimmed that lead by a point in the second quarter, trailing 19-13 at halftime.
Easley outscored the Rams 26-24 in the second half, but were not able to earn the win.
Westside’s Fred Mattison led all scorers with 15 points.
Joe Graver led the Green Wave with 11 points. Joel Cook added 8. Others scoring for Easley included Troy McGowens 7, Spencer Collins 6, McKenzie Blandon 4 and Tim Pickel 3.
Easley drops to 12-3 on the season, 2-1 in Region 1-AAAA play. The Green Wave will host Greenwood Tuesday night.
Westside improved to 8-6 on the year and 3-0 in Region 1-AAAA play. The Rams host Woodmont in a non-conference game Monday, then will host Wren Tuesday night.
Easley will have a shot at revenge when the two teams play again Feb. 5 at McKelvey Gymnasium.
