EASLEY—Win or lose Tuesday night, it will be the last game played at McKelvey Gym of Easley High School as the Green Wave take on Hillcrest for a spot in the Upstate championship game on Friday.

Easley advanced in the state AAAA playoffs after defeating Fort Mill 63-47 Saturday night. Easley opened the game strong, leading Fort Mill 14-9 at the end of the first quarter. The lead was cut to 31-27 by halftime, but Easley dominated the final two quarters to take the 16-point win.

Spencer Collins led Easley with 17 points. Joel Cook added 15. Troy McGowens had 11 points. Others scoring for the Green Wave were Tim Pickel 9, Joe Graver 7 and McKenzie Blandin 4.

Hillcrest, formerly a member of Region 1-AAAA with Easley, was the Region 2-AAA champions this season. The Rams defeated Lancaster 63-47 Saturday night.

Neither Easley nor Hillcrest have allowed a team to finish any closer than 14 points to them in the playoffs.
