LIBERTY – The Liberty Ministerial Administration will hold its Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday, April 4 at 7 a.m. at the Sarlan Park Gazebo in Liberty, the gazebo used for the town’s Liberty Idol.

The sun is set to rise at 7:14 a.m. on Sunday and director of music for the event Roy Costner said he chose 7 a.m. because wanted the sun to rise during the service.

The non-denominational service is open to everyone and will last around 30 minutes. Several churches in the area are participating in music or the message.

Youth from different churches in the area will perform a song together. Costner said he invites any youth interested to join in on the song.

Last year, the service hosted around 100 people from Liberty or surrounding areas.

Costner said if the weather is bad, he hopes to move the service to the fellowship hall at Liberty First Baptist Church.
