POWDERSVILLE — Alice Elizabeth Ellison Garner, 82, of 2400 Powdersville Road, went to be with the Lord Friday April 9, 2010, at Anderson Area Medical Center.

Mrs. Garner was born in Easley, a daughter of the late Jessie Allen and Lula Mae Border Ellison. She was a graduate of Easley High School, a homemaker and a member of Siloam Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son, James Allen Garner and his wife, Sharon, of Williamston; daughters, Anna Jones and her husband, Tony, of Dacusville and Janice Chapman, of Powdersville; brothers, Charles Ellison and William “Bill” Ellison and his wife, Mary, all of Powdersville; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were comducted 2 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2010, in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Rev. Mitch Gambrell officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
