EASLEY — Members of the Easley Lions Club are hosting the fifth annual Run for Sight, 8:30 a.m., Saturday, May 15.

The Easley Lions Club and the City of Easley are committed to having a good fun and friendly race. Grab your running shoes and sweat off a few extra calories for a good cause.

Proceeds will benefit the underprivileged people of Easley who need new eyeglasses and eye exams. A portion of the proceeds will also go tothe Lions International Campaign Sight First Fund II and Storm Eye Institute.

Many citizens will exercise their community spirit by running and walking to serve the needs of others.

The Easley’s Lions Club motto is “We Serve.”

The race will be held at the USATF/RRTC certified course beginning at the J.B. “Red” Owens Recreation Complex. The award ceremony will take place after the race.

Runners can sign up at http:lionwap.org/eclub/sites/Easley/index.php, or at strictlyrunning.com.

Entry fee is $20.

Seven or more runners can enter “bundled” together for $15 each.
