Easley Soccer Club wins big at state competition

SUMTER – The Easley Soccer Club sent four of their teams to the South Carolina State Cup last weekend in Sumter, and two of their teams came back with trophies.

The under 12 boys team, The Strikers, took home first place and won the championship for their division.

The under 10 girls Black team were finalist in the South Carolina State Cup. They came in second in the state.

The Easley Soccer Club is a recreational and competitive league for players 3 to 13. They are members of the South Carolina Youth Soccer Association. For players looking for more of a challenge, they also offer traveling teams for players 8 and up. Coaches and volunteers for the program are state certified.
