EASLEY — The Easley High School Green Wave Athletic Boosters Club elected its officers for the 2010-2011 school year during the May meeting.

Todd McAlister will continue as the club’s president. Denny Owen will serve as vice president. Nick Caldwell will be treasurer and Janet Willis will be secretary.

Nobody sought the position of second vice president. That position will be filled at a later date chose by the officers.

The club also announced that the winner of the Steve Westmoreland Award for service to Easley athletics will be announced during halftime of the Green Wave spring scrimmage June 4.

The Green Wave Football Mom’s Club will meet 7 p.m., May 20, at the McKelvey Gymnasium at Easley High School. The club will make plans for pre-game team meals for the 2010 season. Coach Chad Smith hopes to arrange for such meals before every game next season, including the spring scrimmage.
