LIBERTY — Ryan Stephens, Liberty High School, has signed a national letter of intent to play baseball at Toccoa Falls College.

Stephens completed his senior year hitting a career high .325. He also contributed on the mound where he helped guide the Red Devils to some very important wins.

“Ryan is a leader on the field with his work ethic and unselfish attitude,” LHS Coach Scott Kerwin said.

Stephens was the recipient of the Matthew Glen Roper “Role Man” Award for LHS Baseball this season. In 2007, he was the MVP for the LHS JV baseball team.

Stephens has played summer and fall baseball for Blue Chip Baseball.

He attended Palmetto Boys State representing LHS last summer.

Stephens is active in his youth group at Flat Rock Baptist Church and also plays in the Praise Band.
